An IoTastic Show: IoT World 2017 Recap
IoT World 2017 wrapped late last week with over 10,000 attendees. The Great Bay Software team attended the show and was pleased to meet many of you at the show. If you weren’t lucky enough to attend the show this year, read through our recap blog to bring you up to date with what’s trending in the IoT world.
IoT executives and enthusiasts from across the globe were all brought together with IoT World. Day 1 began with Avnet’s aptly named presentation 'Aligning your IoT Strategy: Where to Start', delivered by Lou Lutostanski. Throughout the day some of the world's most technologically advanced businesses have taken to the stage to discuss the future of IoT with a focus on different verticals including healthcare, industrial IoT, AI & Machine Learning, Intelligent Transport plus much more.
The second day of Internet of Things World was jam packed! Check out the video to see what happened during the show. The expo hall was filled with latest IoT products and solutions, one important one being Great Bay Software of course! The Ecosystem Center Stage & IoT Developer Stage had a full house all day with presentations from the likes of Philips Lighting, IPSO Alliance, Department of Homeland Security, Orange and Johnson Controls just to name a few. Later in the afternoon on day two, the conference was split into 10 tracks, each focusing on a different IoT vertical including two Connected & Autonomous Vehicles tracks as part of our co-located event. The third and final day of IoT World 2017 wrapped up so quickly that it was a blur! The show floor was busy with more people through the doors than ever before!
